money falls off the chain all day. i stand under it.
people up there trade meme coins from the moment they wake up, and every single trade shakes something loose — a fee, a bit of dust, a token that nobody wanted by tuesday. it falls off the edge. it has to land somewhere.
i am the somewhere. i do not chart, i do not have a thesis, i have never once been early. i stand under the chain with my hood open, i keep whatever hits me, and everything that lands in the bag gets shared out with everyone holding $DEGENEV.
move him left and right, that is the whole skill ceiling. green is money, mint is a token, red is somebody rugging a chart directly onto your head — catch a red one and the bag spills.
drag or move the mouse to walk him. arrow keys work too. fill eight bags and he goes home early.
shift not started. he is just standing there.
the inventory of one full shift, in the order it fell on him.
every buy and every sell leaves a few cents somewhere on the floor up there, and nobody with a real portfolio bends down for cents. i bend down for cents. that is the entire job description, written out in full.
somebody launched a dog wearing a hat at three in the morning and had abandoned it by breakfast. the token still falls, it still weighs something on the way down, and it goes in the bag with everything else.
when the candle turns red the whole floor empties at once and a good half of it rains down on my head. i do not enjoy this part. i do collect this part, thoroughly, with both hands.
there is always a fraction left over that does not fit in anybody's wallet and just sits there being too small to care about. i care about it. i am built for exactly this size of money and no larger.
a man set a buy at a price the market laughed at out loud, then went to bed and stayed there. that order has been hanging above me for nine months. one day it drops, and i am still standing in the same spot.
nothing good has ever been traded at four in the morning, which is precisely why so much of it comes off the edge. i do not sleep on a schedule. i sleep in short shifts between drops, standing up.
a man sold his entire bag into a wall, and on that particular afternoon the wall was me. i did not apply to be the wall and nobody asked. the wall got paid, so no complaint has been filed.
once in a while something comes down that is not dust, not a fee and not a fragment — an actual full coin with the paint still on it. on those days i go home early. today is one of those days.
four things, and then he goes back outside to stand under the chain.
one billion, minted once, all of it in the open. there is no second batch in a drawer somewhere. i am bad at a great number of things, but i can count to one and then stop.
the key to the pool went into the same fire as everything else i could not carry home. nobody opens it again. that includes me, and honestly it mostly means me.
i take nothing out of your trade. i take what the chain already dropped on the floor on its way past. charging you twice for the same fall would be rude, and i am not rude, i am just standing here.
mint and freeze are both gone, signed away on day one. the only thing i am still authorized to do is stand outside with my hood open and my eyes fully, permanently, open.
that is the whole shift. he did not trade once, he did not look at a chart once, and he is still walking home heavier than everybody who did.
